During 2018/19 we have built a Replica of Kim Newcombe’s 1973 500 Grand Prix machine. Using an original old stock frame and swingarm it has been built to be an authentic replica of Kim's 1973 bike. It has been fitted with Ceriani 35mm GP forks, genuine Ceriani 4ls drum front brake and Ceriani 2ls drum rear brake. It is housed with an original Konig engine, fitted with a solex carb and a TT industries 6 speed gear box. Every effort has been made to ensure that we built a machine as close to the original as possible, but with minor improvements, such as a electronic igniton system and a belt driven Bob Newby clutch. All of which is used on the Seeley Konig with fantastic results.

The Kim Newcombe Recreation is now complete and avaliable for demonstrations. Both the Daval Konig and the Kim Newcombe Replica were released at the 2019 April Stafford bike show. We now have built a jig to manufacture frames and are in the process of building a small batch of authentic Konig recreations.
